One more example of homosexuality being 'stuffed down our throats' until we choke - a Nova Scotia schoolboard is FIRED by the Dept. of Education because they couldn't stomach approving the proposed sex-ed program:
"The SRSB has been grinding the issue of the program for nearly a month; originally a decision had been expected several weeks ago. Last week, however, the entire board was fired before coming to a decision and without any further statements being made to the public on the issue of the "Healthy Relationships" program.
"Healthy Relationships for Youth" advocates for complete gender "equality" through suggesting gender analysis by way of 'role-play' exercises. The second section of the program is designated expressly to expose 'gender stereotypes', such as the need for women to be "lady-like" or for men to "act like men". The students are also subject to exercises to increase awareness and acceptance of homosexual tendencies in themselves and in their peers, and to keep in mind that failure to accept homosexual lifestyles is a type of "violence" against these individuals.
In implementing this new program, the school board will terminate the two existing programs which are decidedly 'not run by the appropriate people', said a SRSB board member.
The new program will be delivered in the classrooms by a "community person" and accompanied by a "Youth Team volunteer" (students selected from grades 10-12) to be trained in leadership and in facilitating by the Women's Resource Centre."

"Unreality Shows"
An article by Kristen West McGuire, of 'Secretum Meum Mihi', frankly debunks the 'sex' shows of popular t.v.:
"The statistics are pretty stark for women who sleep around as much as Carrie and friends. The writers forgot to mention at least one or two cases of genital warts, several pregnancy scares , and at least a brush with HIV infection. Yeah, they’re practicing 'protected' sex, but even smart women get 'caught.'
Forty-eight million abortions after Roe v. Wade, it’s hard to argue that we are any better at controlling our fertility today than we were thirty five years ago. Artificial birth control measures treat the fertility of the female as a problem, a biological hazard, rather than a gift and a mystery woven into the fabric of being a woman. 'Protected' sex implies that there is something wrong when a woman’s body does what it was created to do in the aftermath of a steamy session with McDreamy."

REAL TEACHER
A Principal in South Carolina resigned his job in a demonstration of personal integrity his students and teachers will not see often in their lives:
"'Allowing the formation of this club on our campus conflicts with my professional
beliefs and religious convictions,' wrote Walker in a letter to Lexington-Richland School District Five officials.
Walker also contended that the GSAC would conflict with the goals of the school’s abstinence education program.
'The formation of this club conflicts with my professional beliefs in that we do not have other clubs at Irmo High school based on sexual orientation, sexual preference, or sexual activity.'
'In fact our sex education curriculum is abstinence based. I feel the formation of a Gay/Straight Alliance Club at Irmo High school implies that students joining the club will have chosen to or will choose to engage in sexual activity with members of the same sex, opposite sex, or members of both sexes.'"
I wonder how the parents will respond. How will they discuss this in their home - because whether they realize it or not, whether they want the responsibility or not, they have the most influence on what their children will take away from this contact with a man of integrity.
Will they teach their children the value and meaning of truth? Any bets?
