Vocation Witness

Johanna Whittaker writes about her realization of a vocation with the Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate:


"During Adoration on the Friday of that week, I was granted a small insight into the depth of God's infinite love for me. Before the creation of the world, before time began, He knew me and loved me. Before He created man, He foreknew the Fall and the Cross and accepted both. He didn't need to create anything; He could have done everything differently, redeeming us without the cross, but He didn't. It still fills me with awe. Then and there, I was filled with such a desire and love for God and I wanted to give Him my whole mind, heart and soul. I abandoned myself to Him saying whatever you ask of me Lord I will try to do..."
