"Environmental (Mis)education"

Kenneth Green , D.Env., writes in the Fraser Forum :

"In an examination of environmental textbooks used widely both in Canada and the United States...(the scientists) found that many of the books and learning materials they reviewed had 'serious flaws', provided 'superficial coverage of science',and mixed 'science with advocacy'. Textbooks were found to have three major flaws: they exaggerate environmental problems; they emphasize harm by humans while ignoring the good they do; and they encourage students to take political action before they've learned the underlying realities of environmental issues."

This Fraser Institute report is an eye-opener. I suppose the intended result of 'mis-educating', was meant to be support for things like the global warming scare-mongering. Very nearly successful, except for the actual scientists in the field that are still inconveniently alive and voicing their dissent .

It boggles the mind.

First Things contributor Thomas Sieger Derr explains why 'Global Warming' is no longer 'scary':

"The theory is thus highly vulnerable in two ways. One is the accumulation of evidence that appears to falsify it, and the other is a public opinion that is no longer susceptible to media alarms. There are signs that both of these events are happening."

Oh well, I guess I can put that 'carbon credit' business opportunity on the back burner!

Hurrah! for those wonderful MPs in Britain! Now we can look forward to human/non-human hybrids, or as the linked article calls them- a new species of slaves. Slaves born to be used , and for no other reason. Owned by their 'creators'. Sound like science fiction?

( This is what comes of a couple of generations of really bad education, where none of the 'cautionary tales' of literature see the light of day, and only gov't propaganda supporting the current method of controlling the population 'think' is taught.)

How much worse can it get? I used to think I wouldn't live long enough to see it get as bad as it has. Now I'm anxious for the final show down to occur, so I don't have to witness what I can't imagine. I have no confidence in MAN'S ability to avoid disaster. Its all up to God. We better get on our knees!
