"Not In My Name..."

(aborted 9 week old human fetus)

"For years and years the government has funded abortions, supplied abortions, paid for them (since I started paying taxes) with my money. It wasn’t done in my name. And frankly, I don’t love the blood on my hands. In fact, this group was started so that women like you wouldn’t be the only ones to stand up at the time of the Morgentaler anniversary, to make a claim of “victory for women’s rights” as if you spoke for women everywhere. See, here’s the problem. You and your friends have been purportedly “representing” me in politics and the public square for quite some time. But you never did. It was frustrating, yes..."

If you have found yourself frustrated by the radical culture of death presuming to 'represent' you, in the name of 'all women', check out ProWomanProLife , and add your name to the "Not In My Name" list...

Jay Leno To Raise Funds AGAINST Pregnancy Crisis Centers

Comedian Jay Leno and his wife are to host a fundraiser for Feminist Majority Foundation, a radical abortion organization that advocates protests against and closure of pregnancy crisis centers. Mavis Leno is a member of the board of FMF, so presumably she is aware of and supports their radical stands against informing and providing a healthful choice for women, or supporting them emotionally and materially through crisis pregnancies. She therefore is expressly not for choice or for women, but FOR abortion at all costs, even at the cost to women themselves.

Not very funny.

Meanwhile, OptionLine reaches out to women pregnant or after an abortion, and helps connect them with information and crisis pregnancy centers across America. Women can find the help they need , without being pressured into a 'procedure' that may forever change their physical, mental and spiritual health.

Clearly, caring for women is not as simple as providing a ticket to murder whomever stands in the way of their immediate 'plans'. Caring for women implies providing for their health as whole persons - perhaps a concept that FMF cannot reconcile with. Afterall, where would the 'sacred cow' abortion be if women had depth of knowledge, emotion and spirituality?

Liberals Are Not Pro-Woman, They Are Pro-Abortion

American Thinker:

....The continuous assault on Sarah Palin is not so difficult to understand. In fact, it can be summed up thusly: she's a woman opposed to abortion. You see, when a man says he's opposed to abortion, women who disagree can accuse him of trying to control a woman's body and/or simply not understanding how a woman feels about dealing with pregnancy, career achievement and defeating the "good ole boy" network. But, how are they going to justify that to a Sarah Palin, who has raised a family, been elected to the highest office in her state and has gained a reputation as a corruption fighter? And a woman decided to keep, raise, and love a Down syndrome child, her son Trig.

Governor Palin represents a stake in the heart of the abortion movement and for that reason alone, she must be sniped at, ridiculed and trashed until her name becomes a scarlet letter on the bosom of every woman who dares to challenge the inner sanctum of liberal orthodoxy....

Its much harder to justify abortion as the panacea of feminist freedom and choice when one woman like Sarah Palin can overcome all their objections to valuing EVERY life - by her own everyday example of feminist freedom. She exemplifies every woman's freedom to choose to be fully active, fully intelligent, fully successful, and fully woman. Its especially the exercise of the freedom to be fully woman and human that irks the abortion lobby, and most threatens it.

"To a great extent the level of any civilization is the level of its womanhood. When a man loves a woman, he has to become worthy of her. The higher her virtue, the more her character, the more devoted she is to truth, justice, goodness, the more a man has to aspire to be worthy of her. The history of civilization could actually be written in terms of the level of its women."~Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

"A mother is the most important person on earth. She cannot claim the honor of having built Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not. She has built something more magnificent than any Cathedral -- a dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection of her baby's body".( Cardinal Joseph Mindszenty)

Wente Can't See The Story For Her Prejudice

'Elizabeth' commented at ProWomanProLife:

"Thank you for taking a pro-Palin position here. I was quite annoyed with Wente’s column; it was genuinely sexist. This is a VP candidate who has more experience than Obama, but the press refuses to acknowledge this. Instead, it is all about her clothes, she is a ditz, etc. She not only has experience, but a number of accomplishments in a very short time period. After 50 days on the national scene she has performed reasonably well, while Biden (after decades in Washington) makes insane mistakes in terms of knowledge of foreign affairs that scare the h*** out of me. If McCain loses, I really hope Palin beats Obama in 2012.

Here we have an amazingly accomplished woman, who did it all herself with no politician husband or wealthy connections and so -called feminists cannot even acknowledge any of this. Her husband is exactly what these women would call a “feminist” - does diapers, is not threatened by his wife,s success, seems like a wonderful father - but most refuse to acknowledge this as he is also pro-life. I loved her story about when she first told him she was expected Trig and she asked him “why did God choose us to have a down syndrome baby” and Todd answered “well, why not us?”. With all the men out there abandoning kids, pressuring women into abortion or convincing them they will be deadbeat - Todd’s attitude should be celebrated.

Why are no feminists willing to admit that the images of a VP candidate with a husband cradling an infant is a landmark for women? Never before in history. I am astonished as to why this pic is not on the cover of Ms. with some kind of heading like “21st century feminist husband” or something.

Anyways - it all comes down to the “right” to kill fetuses I guess. Does not matter how accomplished, groundbreaking or impressive one is - without that belief it counts for nothing."

Let's Try This Again...

Guelph University Student Union is the living evidence that student governments are a joke. They not only don't know what gov't is, they don't know why they are at university!(That would be pursuit of TRUTH and development of character while BROADENING their knowledge of the world .)

Every year, fresh faces must learn the hard way what it means to live in a democracy. What freedom means. What responsibility means. What being an adult is all about.

Unfortunately for student unions across Canada, developmentally retarded 'adults' who spend their next 20 years after their mediocre B.A. as paid 'researchers' for student unions, often also don't know these things. They have never graduated from the NDP youth corps into real life.

Truth, reason, fairness, reality - all foreign concepts to these individuals. Whenever the radical feminist lobby calls them up, they run to serve, drooling with conspiratorial anticipation of their rewards in liberal heaven. Never mind that 'liberal heaven' is an oxymoron. They don't know that either.

As a former student politician,(ancient history!) present at the formation of the now infamous CFS, I can attest to the adrenaline affect of being up against 'the man'. We actually spent most of our time on funding, not persecuting other students ( I declined to participate in the 'women's caucus', not being lesbian enough to really fit in.)

I know I sound harsh. I remember my frustration at the time, with outside groups trying to push their politics on us- the Marxist/Leninists who 'joined' in our protests at gov't house, the hate-filled feminasties - and frustration with the kids who couldn't care less about funding so didn't want to pay student fees. Frustration with gov't who ocassionally patted us on the head but mostly ignored us. I know.

Student politics is at best a learning experience for those involved. At Guelph, and other universities across Canada, its the worst. Its a TOOL for others' agendas, unrepresentative of the students themselves, and apparantly facist. (Unions used to leave 'facist' to the administration!) At least when you're dealing with funding, you know it will help all students. When you label some students as 'unfit' members of the community by 'outlawing' their groups and maligning their intent, you are being intolerant in the most facist of ways. You are denying them the right to use their own reason to determine their own beliefs. You are demanding conformity to YOUR beliefs.

In twenty years, half of those involved- perhaps more, will have entirely different perspectives on life, and LIFE. Student governments are a joke. A bad one.

Prolife students need to disassociate themselves from unions like that at the University of Guelph. Don't pay the fees. And don't pay the fees for the 'women's center either!

If you need help, call me. Really.
