Stand Strong With The Lord

Some of the 40 Days For Life participants have met with violence, but no-one is giving up easily:

"A black SUV with two guys in it pulled up. They jumped out and attacked all of us with fire extinguishers. They doused us all with the powder (it was very frightening while it was happening) and then jumped in their car and sped off.”

The SUV’s license was covered, so they couldn’t get the number. But the police did respond and a report was filed.

“The reason I am telling you this is that I have been sidewalk counseling for many, many years and NOTHING is going to scare me away, but I did anticipate that some of the people who were there for the very first time might be very intimidated with what happened and leave and possibly never come back.”

But that didn’t happen. “No one left, and one man who had come out for the first time said it only made him more courageous and strong in his conviction to come out again. Praise God! So even though we were covered in powder, we continued praying.”

Satan is clearly not happy about what 40 Days for Life is doing to one of his strongholds — the abortion industry.

“Christ said, ‘Be not afraid!’ We won’t be!”
