Anyone petitioning Saint Joseph today, best pray for this woman. She needs brains, a heart and a conscience ... before her time expires. It is a particular insult to Saint Joseph, to invoke his name in aid of an evil healthcare bill. Saint Joseph was protector of Jesus in the face of Herod (who shared Obama's disdain for the value of a human life),and he is the Patron Saint of Families. Only a person without a shred of actual faith God could do such a disgustingly cynical thing. Pray God , that American Catholics are not as stupid as she thinks they are.



Dear Ms. Pelosi,
Perhaps you aren't lying, and putting your soul recklessly in danger of eternal damnation. Perhaps you didn't realize, or hadn't read, that many mamy more Catholic Sisters have denounced your life threatening legislation, than have endorsed it. Perhaps you have not heard the voices of reality and truth that have been correcting your scandalous errors and obfuscations every step of the way. Perhaps you are not cynically underestimating the intelligence of the average American voter.
I doubt it, but just in case....

The health care bill you are proposing has been condemned by the Catholic church as being against its social teaching. With all authority, the Catholic Church has condemned your bill. No faithful Catholic can support your bill in good conscience, because the Church has condemned the evil inherent in your bill. No amount of soft soap, dropping names of well known unfaithful Catholics, or calling on the saints, will change the fact that your bill is going to force Americans to pay for abortions. (BTW, that's not the only thing against the bill...seventh commandment impels us to NOT SPEND MONEY BEYOND OUR MEANS...)

Stop your insane spiral towards Hell. Go to confession. Get a heart, a brain and a soul. (follow the yellow brick road...)

....While the Catholic faithful understand and support the behind-the-scenes dialogue and diplomacy that goes on with prominent Catholics by the bishops to reconcile them with the Church, when such dissent continues for years and in some cases decades in spite of the actions and activities that have been undertaken by past and present bishops, then it becomes necessary for a bishop to take a formal public stand to prevent further scandal, said Pewsitter.

“Unfortunately what has happened is that dissenting Catholics have continued to receive Holy Communion with impunity -- and this has led to the false impression that the Church condones or at least tolerates such dissenting opinions on serious moral issues such as abortion, euthanasia, and embryonic stem cell research, to name a few,” said the Pewsitter statement. “Not only do these prominent Catholics disregard the Church’s teachings, but in many cases they actively and publicly promote policies and legislation that undermines, opposes and contradicts the Church’s teachings. I'm pretty sure these Canons apply universally, which would include Canada. Canada has been plagued with 'nominally' catholic politicians in (high) gov't positions implementing the antithesis of justice . Off the top of my head, I can think of about 15 who are primarily responsible for the moral decay and the decline of Canadian society.

Pelosi And The Pope

Nancy Pelosi, the prominent US Senator, well known by Catholics as a dissident at best, has visited the Pope this week. It couldn't have been too much fun to be publicly rebuked by the Pope, for things she repeatedly tells us are not a contradiction to her claim of being an 'ardent Catholic'.

Meanwhile, at home the media hacks are falling all over themselves to ignore reality. Practically shedding tears, telling tales of Pelosi's youthful Catholic practices, they present her well known differences with authentic Catholicism as though they were typical of Catholic worship. As though Catholics had a catechetical menu off of which they could CHOOSE from opposing options. As if there were no Truth.

There is Truth.

Nancy Pelosi wouldn't know Truth , if it refused to get its picture taken with her.

Catholics On The March

Not too many of us sing 'Onward Christian Soldiers' these days, but it is still a great rallying cry. Kathryn Jean Lopez uses the scandalous example of Nancy Pelosi's persistent heretical pronouncements as a reminder of what we're marching about.

Dissident 'Catholics' deserve our pity and need our charity.

Pelosi and her ilk cannot make headway in opposition to the Truth. Pray for her, and be glad of your faith.

Less than a week in power, and the Democrats cannot seem to pace themselves. They're going to run through all the social engineering strategies in the first month! Eugenics, euthanasia, gay marriage, abortion, human experimentation .... aren't the groups most affected by these moves also the ones that are most likely to vote Democrat?

I don't get the 'kill off our demographic' strategy. Are there really enough rich atheist secular humanist post modern nihilists in the country to keep these guys in power...? Really?!



On a serious note, I think Nancy Pelosi is in desperate and urgent need of prayers. Her time could expire any moment, as with all of us, and she seems ill prepared to meet her Maker. Thanks to real Christians (as opposed to faux catholics), who most assuredly have had her in their prayers for quite a while. By God's grace, even the most obvious lost cause can be redeemed.
