FEMINISTS FOR LIFE
Angelica Rosales tells her story, that of a child whose mother had a serious health risk in pregnancy, yet ignored doctor's advice.
Noone wants a mother to die in childbirth or pregnancy. Fortunately, actual instances of risk are infrequent. A 'life' position and a Catholic position , is to try to maintain the health and life of both patients. If the child should die in the circumstance of trying to save the mother's life, that is not the same as deliberately killing the child to 'save' the mother.
We have an obligation to do all that we can. We cannot do more. Nor can we makes ourselves the arbiters of life and death.
That is God's domain.
