Faithful Canadian Catholics, anxious to see some quick changes in Development and Peace in light of the continued scandal of their contribution to organizations actively involved in abortion advocacy in vulnerable countries such as the Phillipines, should be buoyed by the leadership of the Archbishops of Toronto and Ottawa.
Not being knowledgeable about the 'politics' of reporting at the CCCB plenary, I'm not sure what to make of Bishop Grecco's contribution. (He's our new bishop in PEI.) One can only hope that as a board member of Development and Peace, he would be highly motivated to make changes, and would take his former Archbishop's example to heart.
